Medical Translations
Medical translations and pharmaceutical document translations are very important nowadays, as this industry is one of the most developed in the world. I have had the opportunity to specialize in translating manuals for dental devices and ceramic materials, auditive implants, ultrasound systems.
I have translated documents for cardiology systems, ECG, defibrillators, breathing control systems, but also, lab test materials/assays, user guides for breast implants, dialysis and medical electronic devices.
I have also worked on long term translation projects for imagistic equipment, orthopedic implant devices, with their application, sterilization methods and other important information the surgeon must know before the implant surgery procedure.
Recently, I specialized in documents dedicated to radiosurgery therapy and chemotherapy, a field that I find very interesting from a terminology point of view.
Assays for laboratories, lab testing devices and equipment, other lab materials (consumables, reagents, controls, standards, calibrators), specific tests to identify viruses, bacteria, etc.
